We had the privilege of providing the lighting for Patricia and Richard’s Wedding at the Casa Real at the Ruby Hill Winery. The couple have beautiful photographs that they will be able to treasure for years to come thanks to the amazing photography of Tyler Vu. Photos of Patricia and Richard’s wedding can be seen on Tyler Vu’s Blog. Our lighting highlighted the gorgeous flower arrangements that were by Nicole Ha. The couple and their guests enjoyed delicious deserts prepared by Debbie Caracciolo-Smith from Not Just Cheesecakes. We wish Patricia and Richard the very best in their life together.
The Wedding Of Andrew and Rachel at Casa Real in Pleasanton, California
Oct 16th
I recently had the pleasure of being the Master of Ceremonies at the wedding of Andrew and Rachel on July 12, 2009 at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, California.
When I arrived, the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour in the Amber Room, where Krista Strader was playing the harp. The bridal party was outside taking photographs with Dave from Lepori Photography. It was my first time working with Dave and it was a pleasure working with him. He showed me some of the photos he had taken in front of the fountain at Casa Real and they were stunning. When it came time for the formal introductions, I introduced the bridal party to “Let’s get It Started” by The Black Eyed Peas. After dinner was served, the bride and groom presented a slideshow for the guests to watch while they enjoyed their dinner. Right after the slideshow, we went right into the first dance; Rachel was ready to get the party started! They danced to “Every Time I Close My Eyes” by Babyface. Then we went into the father/daughter and mother/son dances, followed up by the bridal party dance. Once the bridal party dance ended, I introduced the band, Touch N Go. Touch N Go played an hour set, and then I played a couple of songs before the cake cutting. The cake was from Jen’s Cakes in San Jose, California. The cake was incredible, one of the best I have ever seen. Oh, and did I mention delicious? Once we had finished all the formal events, I threw it back over to Touch N Go. At the end of the night I played the last song, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Everyone who was still there got up and on to the dance floor and danced around the Newlyweds. Congratulations to Andrew and Rachel on their spectacular day.
