Workman/Kabealo Wedding at the Palm Event Center
Aug 12th
Kate and Patrick were married May 6th, 2011 on a beautiful spring day at the Palm Event Center. The ceremony in the Estate Room was extremely intimate, with an abundance of candles warming up the entire room. Patrick’s cousin Brewer Stouffer was the officiant, and he stated that the love between Kate and Patrick was electric, and every person in the room could feel that electricity!
Our videographers Jillian and Fallan were on hand to capture all of the love, and they had an amazing time working with this couple. Kate and Patrick were extremely fun and energetic, and as such it was incredibly easy to transfer all of that energy to the screen. We have just finished editing their video, and we wanted to share it with all of you!
Thank you Kate and Patrick, for allowing us to be there to capture all of the magic on your special day. We wish you all the best in your life together!
Tri- Valley Wedding Professionals New Year’s Networking Event
Feb 16th
On January 25th, we had the pleasure of being the lighting sponsors for the Tri-Valley Wedding Pros New Years Networking Event at the Palm Event Center. It was a fun night and a wonderful opportunity for all the Wedding Professionals in the Tri-Valley to get to know one another better. The event had live music provided by Sugar Rush, and everybody was definitely enjoying the atmosphere. Other vendors offered their services and sponsorship as well:
Photos- Lori Rittinger
Flowers- The Flower House
Video- Amos Productions
Linens- Napa Valley Linens
Audio- Thor Audio Solutions
Venue, Food, & Drinks- The Palm Event Center
Lori actually posted a video slideshow of all the pictures she took on her website. You can tell that everybody was having a great time. Take a look!
We also took the opportunity to experiment with some of our new décor ideas. Nick has been toying around with using lampshades and table lamps in different capacities, and this is what he came up with. Introducing…The Shade Lamp!
We also used some interesting looking table lamps, to add an eclectic feel to the event. They looked really nice next to the floral arrangements!

Happy Holidays from all of us here at Fantasy Sound Event Services!
We hope this holiday season brings health and prosperity to you and yours.
Keep an eye out on our website in the New Year because it’s going through a lot of changes, starting with the Fantasy Sound Event Services staff biographies and photos! We took our photos December 18th outside the Palm Event Center, and the rainy, overcast weather made for some really neat pictures, as you can see in the group shot above. We’re excited for everyone to learn a little bit more about us individually and as a company. Happy Holidays!
Wedding Ideas…
Dec 17th
Perhaps one of the coolest trends right now in the wedding world is the Winter Wonderland Wedding. There is something so magical about the winter season that lends itself perfectly into creating an enchanting evening for celebration. Now, I know it may be intimidating to get married in a season that already has an established theme, but don’t feel locked in by the Christmas aesthetic! Christmas is only a small part of the winter season, and although it might be cute to have a nod to Christmastime in some of your decorations or favors, there are plenty of other ideas you can use to transform your venue into a beautiful winter wonderland. I’m sure we all can’t get married in a ski lodge in Aspen surrounded by softly falling snow, but we can transfer some of those aspects to your wedding. To achieve that icy and snowy atmosphere, try using some uplights with icy blues and a wash of snowflakes, either on the walls or on the dance floor. Add some shimmering silver drapery and you’ve created an elegant aesthetic. It truly is a quick and easy way to effectively transform the appearance of any room. Furthermore, the color palette of a winter wedding should be kept simple. Typically, white would serve as the base color accented with silver and gold, but throwing in some icy blues and greens adds an unexpected, but still beautiful, touch. You can also bring some winter magic to each table as well, by designing some beautiful floral centerpieces. Ask your florist to integrate some sparkly strings of rhinestones in your arrangements to create the look of ice. Also, if you plan on having taller centerpieces, find out if you can hang small candle votives from the branches. Such a simple touch will add a feeling of warmth, to contrast the iciness coming through from the drapery, uplights, and snowflakes. Of course, these are only a few simple ideas, but the sky is truly the limit! If you need some inspiration, check out these photos from a wedding Fantasy Sound Event Services did at the Palm Event Center.
Danny & Alicia Sanchez Wedding at the Palm Event Center
Sep 8th
It is funny how the weather in July can be so unpredictable. On a, what seemed like a beautiful July day, were chances of rain. The ceremony was to take place on the patio overlooking the vineyards of the Palm Event Center. As the ceremony approached, the lingering clouds parted and the sun washed down, creating that perfect outdoor wedding. As the DJ and Emcee of the wedding, it is imperative to work with a good team and tonight was no exception. I had the pleasure of working with Mark Peters from Peters Photography and Monique Bogni from the Palm Event Center, who is always at her best. Danny & Alicia Sanchez started their new life together among family and friends.

We would like to share a highlight reel from a beautiful wedding we shot at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, CA. The idea of the video was to create an old fashion film effect with a few modern twists along the way. The bride asked us to create a video with three words in mind: Creative, elegant, and energetic. We felt we were able to accomplish her request in this 8-minute highlight reel.
Wedding Background:
The reception and ceremony took place at the stunning Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, CA, the cake was by Bev Tanaka and the florist was Jinger from The Flower House. We also had the privilege of providing the Event Lighting and Disc Jockey service.
Enjoy!
John and Amanda’s Wedding, Palm Event Center
Jun 30th
In addition to hiring FSES for videography, John and Amanda hired me to be the DJ for their wedding on May 29, 2009 at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, California. The morning of the 29th, they had a traditional Catholic ceremony at St. Michaels Church in Livermore, California. It was a small, intimate ceremony for the family. John and Amanda then had a second ceremony on the patio at the Palm Event Center for their friends and family. The bride had designed the ballroom at the Palm Event Center to look like Cinderella’s Ball. The Palm Event Center staff set up two buffets that went with the chosen theme. I was able to work with Sylvain Gentile for the first time. Wow, what can I say? His work was amazing! Sylvain also took photos from the ceremony, placed them on his laptop, and made a slideshow for everyone to see at the bar. Amanda wanted to do something different for the Father/Daughter dance; she had me play two songs. They started off slow dancing to the song “My Little Girl” by Tim McGraw and then I turned on “Honky Tonk Man” by Dwight Yokum, where they danced country swing. After the cake cutting, the party started and everyone danced the night away. I really believed they could have gone all night. Instead of going on a honeymoon, John and Amanda bought a house where they will be relaxing for the next week. Congratulations, John and Amanda! I wish the two of you the best of luck.
