Clay and Lisa Tie The Knot!

Two of our dearest friends and colleagues, Clay Jackson and Lisa Mitchum, got married in their backyard on September 15th, 2012. Kevin has known both Clay and Lisa for many years now, and he was honored when they asked him to DJ their nuptials, and transform their backyard with our event lighting.

Clay and Lisa have both worked in the wedding industry for many years, so they used a lot of their friends as vendors, including Nicole of Nicole Ha Designs. She created all the beautiful backyard blooms, and the colors were gorgeous! They also chose Yves Mozelsio of YJM Photography to photograph the events of the day, and he was generous enough to share all of his photos with us! Every picture you see in this blog was taken by Yves. Aren’t they awesome?!

Check out that spread! Doesn’t all this food look delicious? We love how they chose to do a cupcake tree, instead of a traditional cake.

Clay and Lisa exchanged their vows on a bed of rose petals, in front of their families and friends. Pat Doohan was their officiant, and he led an incredibly moving and emotional ceremony. Clay and Lisa both have kids, and they made up the bridal party. In fact, their recessional music was the theme song from The Brady Bunch! It was awesome to see these two great families joining together.

Lisa is really creative, so she had a lot of great ideas about how to transform their backyard. We loved how the pool looked in the backyard during the day, with the beautiful floating flowers. But once the sun set…the GOBO patterns we projected on the pool, along with the floating lights, really made everything pop! The market lighting also added a romantic touch, and all the guests had a great time dancing under them until the late hours!

We could not be happier for Clay and Lisa, and we wish them all the best! We were so honored that they chose us to work their wedding. We were in such great company with other amazing vendors, and we loved every minute of it!

Congratulations Clay and Lisa!
