We asked Laura to tell us about what inspired her to pursue a career in weddings and how he got started in the industry.

10 years ago I photographed my sisters wedding and watching her sob over the images and see how she treasured them inspired me to make weddings my specialty! My friends told me affordable but magazine quality photography did not exist, it was a fairy tale… I was driven to be the very best and have received awards year after year based on reviews and experience ratings from our clients. I then sought out other photographers that wanted to do the same and now there are 5 of us!

Laura also shared what her favorite part about being in weddings is.

My favorite part is grabbing that “one” image that captures who the two of you are. That joy I feel when I just know I got it for you! I’m also a huge fan of being on time and keeping on the timeline. The chef, your venue, and all the other professionals work really hard to have a schedule that will make sure you and your guests have a great experience.

Laura is also sharing the one piece of advice she likes to give couples planning their wedding.

Be yourselves!!! Trends are fun and awesome but everything from your engagement photos to your wedding day menu should reflect who you are and your guests should leave feeling like they know you even better than they did before they got there.
