Palm Event Center | Jennifer and Zach

Today, we’re highlighting the fairytale wedding of Jennifer and Zach at Palm Event Center. With promises of forever, this event showcased light and airy details through exquisite floral arrangements. Here are some memorable snapshots from their celebration!

Jennifer and Zach

Jennifer and Zach’s big day begins with an intimate first look. What a tender moment!

The bridesmaids and groomsmen pose next to the couple, displaying different hues of blue from their outfits. Of course, we can’t forget about the dog too!

Before the ceremony begins, a “Welcome to Our Forever” sign greets guests, accompanied by a romantic tablescape and guest book for everyone to share their best wishes to the couple.

The outdoor ceremony is gorgeous, with a lush vineyard, a light floral wedding arch, and clear skies. As Jennifer and Zach exchange their vows, everything feels complete.

One look at the sweetheart table, and you’ll get swept away into an idyllic paradise. Florals are everywhere, from the centerpieces to the chandelier, creating a dreamy atmosphere. We also love how the tables are topped with garland and candles, complimenting the rest of the scene.

The couple’s wedding cake maintains a beautiful floral and greenery theme.

Finally, the love birds complete their special day with a dance beneath the floral chandelier. Nothing else matters except getting lost in each other’s eyes.

Let’s raise a toast to newlyweds Jennifer and Zach! Your celebration was remarkable, and we hope your next chapter is too.

A special shout-out to the following creative partners for contributing to this wedding:

Livermore: The Underrated Wedding Destination

Livermore is a stunning wedding destination full of surprises, from countryside views to delectable wine flavors. While the area is widely known for its wineries, it also contains other hidden gems, perfect for a memorable wedding weekend. If you want to surprise guests with an exciting lineup of excursions, here is a glimpse of what Livermore has to offer!

Proximity to San Francisco and the Bay Area

Located in the Bay Area, Livermore is less than an hour from the SFO airport and San Francisco (SF), allowing out-of-town guests to enjoy everything the big city offers without worrying about steep accommodation costs. Hop on the BART train to travel from the East Bay to SF, and feel free to transfer onto the Muni to explore the inner city. SF is home to many historical and cultural locations. Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Pier 39
  • Land’s End
  • China Town
  • Golden Gate Park
  • Japan Town
  • Mission District
  • Twin Peaks
  • Golden Gate Bridge

Pro-tip: Capture some breathtaking photos of the bay on the Golden Gate Bridge. Though it can be foggy, those clear sunny days offer the best views!

Make your way across the Golden Gate Bridge, and you’ll find yourself in the charming sea town of Sausalito, which features waterfront views and quaint shops. You can also explore other prominent locations, like Berkeley, Muir Woods National Monument, Mount Diablo, and Tilden Regional Park.

Lots of wineries to enjoy

Livermore is one of California’s oldest wine regions, showcasing over 50 wineries. With a Mediterranean climate, a nice sea breeze, and rich soil, Livermore produces over 30 varieties of wine. The area is also famous for creating California Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. So if you’re a fan of these classics, make sure to sample them during your wine tours.

In addition, couples can appreciate Livermore Valley’s natural scenery by hiking the local trails. You can kick off your wedding weekend right with a group wine tasting, a ride on the Livermore Wine Trolley, and views of California’s gorgeous landscape.

Beautiful year-round weather

If you’re worried about planning your special day around the weather, Livermore’s temperate climates will put your concerns to rest. Rather than scorching summers and subarctic winters, couples can expect summer temperatures to reach the mid-90s and winter conditions to drop to the 40s and 50s. Our spring temperatures average around the mid-60s to high 70s — perfect for outdoor celebrations. Even our fall temperatures maintain a comfortable 60s to 80s gauge.

To avoid the rain, we recommend planning between June and September. When it comes to weddings, there’s no such thing as an “off-season” in the Livermore area, so couples have free range to select any date to commemorate their love.

Access to nature and outdoor activities

Nature fans will love exploring California’s countryside. From the trails of Bushy Peak Reserve to stunning lakes of East Bay Del Valle Regional Park District, many outdoor adventures await in the Livermore area. Hike the Arroyo Mocho Trail and experience the breathtaking scenery or walk through the grasslands of Morgan Territory Regional Preserve. You will come across plenty of scenic views that make the perfect backdrop for your photos. Consider adding some nature spots if you have room in your wedding weekend itinerary.

A tight-knit wedding vendor community

Couples planning a Livermore wedding can expect a close-knit community of vendors who have extensive experience crafting weddings together. Our history of collaboration allows us to create a seamless planning experience from start to finish. With professional relationships in place, we save couples the headaches of connecting new vendors together. From lighting professionals and venues to catering and florists, our wedding vendor community is ready to breathe life into your vision.

5 Reasons to Get Married in Livermore

Newly engaged and looking for the perfect wedding destination to say “I do”? Look no further — we humbly invite you to get married in Livermore, California!

Livermore, California wedding

We might be biased (OK, we are!), but we really believe that Livermore is one of the best wedding destinations in the world. Sure, Bali and Iceland might (might!) have us beat, but we’re pretty confident that you’ll fall in love with our special area in a matter of hours.

Why is that, you ask? Great question.

Our weather is fabulous, no matter the season.

Want to host a winter wedding but without the headache of snow-laden contingency plans? No worries. Dreaming of a summer celebration sans 90+ degree heat and fears of sweat marks? Not a problem. Livermore’s temperate climate is consistent year-round, with winter averages hovering around 45-50 degrees and summer temperatures rarely going above the high 80s. And with more sunny days on average than the nation at large, you’ll find beautiful weather to keep guests comfortable no matter your wedding season!

Livermore wedding photos are stunning.

Set in the rolling hills of the Tri-Valley area, Livermore wedding venues are known for incredible views of the mountains in the Diablo Range — which just so happens to make a lovely backdrop for wedding pictures! Thanks to year-round agreeable weather, you can take advantage of the natural beauty without so much as a shiver or sweatdrop.

Wine is kind of our thing.

So we love wine out here — so much so that the southern side of Livermore is wine country! Drive through the area and you’ll see vineyards spanning as far as you can see. It’s not just for show, though. The wine produced by local winemakers, like Wente Vineyards and Ruby Hill Winery, attracts connoisseurs from around the world. There’s a reason we’re the oldest wine country in California. (Take that, Napa-Sonoma!) So you know our wine will make for a great selection at your Livermore wedding!

Rodney & Kelly’s Wedding at Rios-Lovell Winery

imag[1]

I was the DJ/Master of Ceremonies for the wedding of Rodney and Kelly at Rios Lovell Winery in Livermore, California. I went to school with Rodney and knew many of the guests from high school. It really brought me back to my high school years. They had a beautiful ceremony out at the gazebo. The caterer was Scott’s Catering and the food was fabulous.  I also had the opportunity to work with Heidi Huber from Heidi Huber Photography. She took some amazing and different photos.  When toast came along, the father of the bride had many presents for his new son-in-law, to welcome him to the family; including a raiders t-shirt. When he brought it out everyone screamed because the Oakland Raiders had beat the Kansas City Chiefs earlier in the day.  I want congratulate Rodney and Kelly on their beautiful wedding.

Fermin & Jennifer’s Wedding at Rios-Lovell Winery

Livermore_Wedding_Ph#D3477C

I had the pleasure of working with Fermin and Jennifer on their wedding at Rios Lovell Winery in Livermore, California. I was their DJ/Master of Ceremonies. They hired their florist, Yasmin from Wildflower Event Florals, to be the wedding coordinator as well. She not only did an amazing job with the flowers, but did an excellent job as the wedding coordinator.  I also had the pleasure of working with Kate from Kate Harrison Photography. She is so easy to work with and her work is outstanding. On her way to Rios Lovell, she saw a field that she thought would be great to take photos in.  After the ceremony, she had both of them climb in her mini and drove them down to the field to take the pictures. During the ceremony, they told the story about the two of them and how they came to be. They went to high school together and after high school they both went off to college. After college, both went off to other countries. They meet again when they both moved back home and happened to be at the same gym.  That is when the relationship started. After dinner we started with the formal dances and got the party started. They danced the night away and had a wonderful time. I want to wish Fermin and Jennifer the best of luck.

The Wedding of Andrew and Merit at Rios-Lovell Winery in Livermore, California

andrew and merit-0033

I had the pleasure of being the DJ and Master of Ceremonies for the wedding of Andrew and Merit at Rios-Lovell Winery in Livermore, California. Their mindset for their wedding was to party and have a good time. They had planned a short ceremony out at the gazebo at Rios-Lovell, followed by a brief cocktail hour. After the ceremony, they were ready to get the party started.  There was a thirty-minute cocktail hour to let the guests grab a drink and find their seats before we started formal introductions. Once everyone went through the buffet, we started their slideshow. Before we started the dancing, their photographer, Ben from Benjamin Photography, took them outside to take some sunset photos. Ben was such a great photographer to work with. He is so laid back and always made sure I knew where he was taking the bride and groom. When they got back we started the formal dances. After a while of open dancing, the groom was ready for his special dance. It is a tradition for him to break dance at events he attends. Everyone circled the dance floor and I turned on “Breakers Revenge” by Beat Street.  Everyone went wild. I want to congratulate Andrew and Merit on their marriage and wish them the best of luck.
