5 Reasons to Get Married in Livermore

Newly engaged and looking for the perfect wedding destination to say “I do”? Look no further — we humbly invite you to get married in Livermore, California!

Livermore, California wedding

We might be biased (OK, we are!), but we really believe that Livermore is one of the best wedding destinations in the world. Sure, Bali and Iceland might (might!) have us beat, but we’re pretty confident that you’ll fall in love with our special area in a matter of hours.

Why is that, you ask? Great question.

Our weather is fabulous, no matter the season.

Want to host a winter wedding but without the headache of snow-laden contingency plans? No worries. Dreaming of a summer celebration sans 90+ degree heat and fears of sweat marks? Not a problem. Livermore’s temperate climate is consistent year-round, with winter averages hovering around 45-50 degrees and summer temperatures rarely going above the high 80s. And with more sunny days on average than the nation at large, you’ll find beautiful weather to keep guests comfortable no matter your wedding season!

Livermore wedding photos are stunning.

Set in the rolling hills of the Tri-Valley area, Livermore wedding venues are known for incredible views of the mountains in the Diablo Range — which just so happens to make a lovely backdrop for wedding pictures! Thanks to year-round agreeable weather, you can take advantage of the natural beauty without so much as a shiver or sweatdrop.

Wine is kind of our thing.

So we love wine out here — so much so that the southern side of Livermore is wine country! Drive through the area and you’ll see vineyards spanning as far as you can see. It’s not just for show, though. The wine produced by local winemakers, like Wente Vineyards and Ruby Hill Winery, attracts connoisseurs from around the world. There’s a reason we’re the oldest wine country in California. (Take that, Napa-Sonoma!) So you know our wine will make for a great selection at your Livermore wedding!

Jeff and Sera’s Wedding at Casa Real at the Ruby Hill Winery

Tyler15

On behalf of Fantasy Sound Event Services, I would love to thank Jeff and Sera Park for letting us be a part of their incredibly special day.
I was their DJ for their wedding at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery.  Our company provided the Event Lighting, which showcased the flowers of Floral Design Studio.  Harpist, Krista Strader started the night off with her beautiful melodies during the ceremony.

Jeff and Sera chose Tyler Vu Photography to capture their day, and, as you can see from these pictures, they surely will not be disappointed.  One aspect of this wedding that was so unique was that, post-ceremony, Jeff and Sera turned the Amber Room into a children’s wedding wonderland.  Movies played on a projector rented from Fantasy Sound Event Services and a mini golf course and carnival games, rented from Pleasanton Rentals, helped the staff of Casa Real create a special place for the children to celebrate.
The day was full of so many unique and incredible touches, from the gorgeous cake and cupcakes from Margaret’s French Bakery to the traditional Korean outfits the couple changed into during the reception; this was truly a day to remember.

Thank you, Jeff and Sera, for coming to us with your dreams, and working with us to turn them into reality!  Congratulations and best wishes from all of us at Fantasy Sound Event Services [but especially Kevin and myself : )]!

The Wedding Of Andrew and Rachel at Casa Real in Pleasanton, California

The Wedding Of Andrew and Rachel at Casa Real in Pleasanton, California.

I recently had the pleasure of being the Master of Ceremonies at the wedding of Andrew and Rachel on July 12, 2009 at Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery in Pleasanton, California.

When I arrived, the guests were enjoying the cocktail hour in the Amber Room, where Krista Strader was playing the harp. The bridal party was outside taking photographs with Dave from Lepori Photography. It was my first time working with Dave and it was a pleasure working with him. He showed me some of the photos he had taken in front of the fountain at Casa Real and they were stunning. When it came time for the formal introductions, I introduced the bridal party to “Let’s get It Started” by The Black Eyed Peas. After dinner was served, the bride and groom presented a slideshow for the guests to watch while they enjoyed their dinner.  Right after the slideshow, we went right into the first dance; Rachel was ready to get the party started! They danced to “Every Time I Close My Eyes” by Babyface. Then we went into the father/daughter and mother/son dances, followed up by the bridal party dance. Once the bridal party dance ended, I introduced the band, Touch N Go. Touch N Go played an hour set, and then I played a couple of songs before the cake cutting. The cake was from Jen’s Cakes in San Jose, California. The cake was incredible, one of the best I have ever seen. Oh, and did I mention delicious?  Once we had finished all the formal events, I threw it back over to Touch N Go. At the end of the night I played the last song, “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Everyone who was still there got up and on to the dance floor and danced around the Newlyweds. Congratulations to Andrew and Rachel on their spectacular day.

Danny & Alicia Sanchez Wedding at the Palm Event Center

0484

It is funny how the weather in July can be so unpredictable.  On a, what seemed like a beautiful July day, were chances of rain.  The ceremony was to take place on the patio overlooking the vineyards of the Palm Event Center.  As the ceremony approached, the lingering clouds parted and the sun washed down, creating that perfect outdoor wedding. As the DJ and Emcee of the wedding, it is imperative to work with a good team and tonight was no exception. I had the pleasure of working with Mark Peters from Peters Photography and Monique Bogni from the Palm Event Center, who is always at her best. Danny & Alicia Sanchez started their new life together among family and friends.

Jessica & Michael Harper / Palm Event Center / Wedding Videography

We would like to share a highlight reel from a beautiful wedding we shot at the Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, CA.  The idea of the video was to create an old fashion film effect with a few modern twists along the way. The bride asked us to create a video with three words in mind:  Creative, elegant, and energetic.  We felt we were able to accomplish her request in this 8-minute highlight reel.

Wedding Background:

The reception and ceremony took place at the stunning Palm Event Center in Pleasanton, CA, the cake was by Bev Tanaka and the florist was Jinger from The Flower House.  We also had the privilege of providing the Event Lighting and Disc Jockey service.

Enjoy!
