The Special Event 2017 – Recap

We’re back from The Special Event 2017 and all we can say is ‘wow!’ We had such a blast and it’s always great when you can pair fun with productivity.

Lindsay started off the week with the WIPA retreat, as she is now the National WIPA Board Secretary (hooray!) and Kevin quickly joined her after a busy weekend of events.

We enjoyed great sessions onsite, including learning more about 3D mapping, personalizing the wedding experience and how to get every member of your team involved in branding your company. I also had the pleasure of speaking on lighting and décor trends, which saw great attendance, as well as participate in a panel about today’s business technology.

We wrapped up the trip with an evening among colleagues at TSE’s Wedding Event, which was music-themed! There were unique design scenes to capture different types of music, from “urban and edgy” to “earthy and natural.” What a blast!

Up next, we’re looking forward to more education and networking at Catersource in New Orleans in March. We can’t wait!
