It’s that time! Fantasy Sound is here with this month’s Creative Partner Spotlight. May is all about someone whose warmth, expertise, and hospitality leave a lasting impression on every couple she works with… Dominique Garcia, Catering Sales Manager at Wente Vineyards! Dominique brings over 15 years of industry experience and a heartfelt commitment to every couple and event she supports. Let’s get to know a little bit more about her journey below!

Tell us a bit about your professional background. What brought you to the event industry?
With over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I began my career as a catering server, where I gained firsthand insight into the importance of service and attention to detail. That foundation led me to roles as an event and wedding coordinator, and eventually a wedding planner, where I developed a deep understanding of the planning process from both the client and operational perspectives. Today, as a Catering Sales Manager at Wente Vineyards, I draw on that comprehensive background to guide couples through every stage of their wedding journey—offering both strategic planning expertise and a true passion for creating memorable, seamless events.

What do you love about your job?
What I love most is being part of a couple’s journey—helping them bring their vision to life and seeing the joy and connection on their big day. Every wedding is different, and I find so much fulfillment in translating a couple’s unique story into a seamless and beautiful celebration.

What’s the most memorable reaction you’ve experienced from a couple leading up to their wedding day?
One moment that stands out was when a bride burst into happy tears upon seeing the ceremony setup for the first time. She hugged me and said, “It’s better than I ever imagined.” It reminded me how impactful our work is—not just in logistics, but in emotions and memories that last a lifetime.

If you could share one wedding planning tip with an engaged couple, what would you tell them?
Focus on what truly matters to you as a couple. It’s easy to get caught up in trends or outside opinions, but your wedding should reflect your personality and values. Prioritize what brings you joy, and everything else will fall into place.
Dominique’s genuine energy, expertise, and heart make her a true gem in the Tri-Valley! We’re so grateful to work alongside her. To learn more about hosting your celebration with Wente Vineyards, visit their website or follow them on Instagram at @wenteevents.
