Tell us a bit about your professional background. What brought you to the event industry?
I’ve always had an innate passion for events – coming from a big, cultured family of DJs, dancers & entertainers who made every reason to celebrate or host an occasion, ultimately leading me into the event world. My professional background started as a Wedding & Event Planner with Entourage Events SF, where I really got to hone my skills in logistics & creative direction & work across various event types, from corporate functions to weddings. That journey eventually brought me to Pleasanton Event Rentals, where I still get to work with amazing vendors & clients & design all type of events – constantly keeping things exciting.
What do you love about your job?
I love the creative aspect of helping clients bring their visions to life, & the problem-solving that comes with making sure every detail is perfect. As Sales Manager at Pleasanton Rentals, it’s been a great way to dive deep into the business side of the event industry. What I love most about my job now is the variety—no two days are the same. I enjoy staying ahead of trends & love the fast-paced nature of the industry. What keeps me engaged is the opportunity to continuously innovate. So, it’s been a plus being part of a team that’s evolving & growing!
What’s the most memorable reaction you’ve experienced from a couple leading up to their wedding day?
Some of the most memorable reactions I’ve experienced working in this industry are when clients who’ve either been planning for so long or just started – display a level of joy & relief when they see the designs I’ve laid out for them. Realizing I had fully captured their vision exactly as they wanted [or more] without them having to worry about it anymore – as if all the stress they’d been carrying disappeared. It’s like I ‘got them,’ & they leave feeling completely confident, knowing everything was taken care of. Having that trust & peace of mind is what makes all the hard work worth it.
If you could share one wedding planning tip with an engaged couple, what would you tell them?
My tip for engaged couples in 2025 is to book your rentals early! Securing what you need well in advance gives you the best chance of getting exactly what you want. Plus, early planning means fewer last-minute surprises, so you can focus on enjoying the lead-up to your big day!
