Lindsay Lauren Events is a boutique style event planning and design company. They specialize in concept to completion weddings and events. They work on a variety of celebrations ranging from social events, holiday parties, corporate events, birthdays, and weddings.
We asked Lindsay to tell us about what inspired her to pursue a career in weddings and how he got started in the industry.
Growing up, I loved everything to do with decorating, details and entertaining. When I was in college, I interned with a planner and also had a Sales & Marketing internship. After college, I continued working in hospitality – I worked in catering, at a venue assisting the Director of Events, and I even worked for a nonprofit doing fundraising events. I gained so much experience and insight into the event planning world by working in those different avenues, which was exactly what I wanted before starting my own business.
Lindsay also shared what her favorite part about being in weddings is.
Getting to know my couples and creating a beautiful and special day that represents them and their story. I also LOVE the day of – seeing months (sometimes years) of planning come together and the vision come to life!
Lindsay is also sharing the one piece of advice she likes to give couples planning their wedding.
